I lived in Leduc Alberta before venturing to the beautiful Vancouver Island. My husband and I lived in Victoria for 5 years enjoying the lakes, ocean, hiking trails, camping, viewing the wonderful wildlife, and all the other outdoorsy things we could. I love to be outside, rain or shine, I can't seem to get enough of it.
When I moved to the island I got a job at a Langford daycare. My boss suggested I get my Early Childhood Education to proceed with working with children. I have graduated from Pacific Rim Early Childhood Education Inc. and have had my certificate for 2 years. Working with children and families has taught me valuable life lessons that I would have never experienced any where else.
I have worked with all ages of children over the the many years working with kids. From new borns to 12 year olds. I have received many complements from parents about my teachings. Taking the children outside to teach them about nature, turning the TV off, and politeness towards everything that we encounter though out the day.
My hobby that takes up my spare time is I am a writer. I think books are a wonderful part of life that everyone should experience. A favourite children's book that I love to read is Pete the Cat. I have a huge selection of books ranging from toddler to grade 12.
