Hi there. My name is Chanice. I am currently in the Concurrent Education Program at Brock University, majoring in Child and Youth Studies. As of April 2015 I will have completed my undergraduate degree and will be continuing onto my final year of teachers college in September.
I have always enjoyed working with children and I have experience working with a variety of age groups. I worked for two years at a Burlington and Oakville daycare in their infant, toddler and preschool classrooms (ages: 12 months to 6 years) and I currently work as a program leader for an after school program for children ages 8-13.
I am a traveler at heart. I have volunteered internationally in both Kenya and the Domincan Republic participating in community development, building houses and teaching English. International development is a big passion of mine and something I hope to continue upon graduation.
My hobbies are diverse so I believe that I would be an excellent candidate for all children. I love sports (I play baseball and hockey) and reading, I also enjoy crafting, camping and other outdoor activities. I am an outgoing person who loves creating attachments with people. I am really looking forward to getting to know you and your child/ren.
