I have 15 years personal experience caring for my mother who was terminally ill. I am comfortable doing all aspects of personal care, familiar with wheelchairs and oxygen, lifts, transfers etc. I believe in the power of a positive attitude in adapting to all of life's challenges, and will bring that with me in supportive encouragement. I understand the importance of including the whole family in caring for an individual and what a difference a capable and dedicated caregiver can make. I consider myself an excellent housekeeper and am tole I am a great cook! I am energetic and fun-loving. I have a good sense of humour and always try to be kind and loving. I am interested in working as a caregiver for personal reasons. I'd like to make a personal and meaningful connection with someone who needs physical assistance. I am grateful to many wonderful people who helped my mother and me, our lives were fuller and easier because of it. I want to use my life's experience to help make a difference in someone else's life.
