Hi.
My name is Auburn and I am 21 years old. I have lived here in Canada, in Whitby, in the same old house for my whole life and I love it. I live with both my parents and my sister is away at school. She is only two years younger than me but it is not out of the ordinary for me to be asked to take responsiblity for her.
I have babysat for several families of varying ages and capacities. For 1-9 year olds I have cooked for them, helped them with homework, taken them to the park, played video games with them, changed their diaper, encouraged them to be creative, and put them to bed (teeth brushed). And I have also simply sat in someone's house while their baby slept only to make sure nothing bad happened. I have been a teacher's assistant for a grade one french immersion class so I have a respectable amount of experience with kids. I am also certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR, and I have a police check from about a year ago.
I am responsible, organized, reliable, kind, friendly, fun, creative and smart. I love kids and kids love me.
I love to read and write. I love art and anything that helps you show your creativity and individuality. I love the park and nature. I love science and technology and things that help your mind grow. I believe that learning can be fun and it doesn't have to take place only in the classroom. Kids minds are like a sponge for information and I love to watch them enjoy everything they do in life.
