    My name is Anne-Marie. I am fluent in English and French. I love nature and its many wonders. I like to read, to paint with water color and acrylic, I like to hang out with my friends and do things together and help each other, or go for a nice meal. In the past, I have done some volunteer work with women in need and with the homeless population.
    My work as a care giver started in Montreal in 1990 in the private homes of seniors, families with children and persons with handicaps. In Kelowna, I worked for Baptist Housing for ten years to provide care to seniors. I helped them with medication, personal hygiene, specific needs such as for example, catheter, braces, ostomy bag, or eyes drops and other doctor prescribed external/internal drugs. Getting to know personally each person is the reward and building a relationship. I find so many seniors have much to share and as I discover their stories, I am filled with respect and awe. All together I have worked with seniors for some twenty years.
