Dear families looking for a carer, Im looking for a part time job during weekends. I am a graduate of bachelor of science in nursing and a registered nurse in the Philippines.I worked as a staff nurse in a private hospital way back home. i worked particularly at medical surgical ward specializing geriatric patients, and obstetric ward. i have strong background in taking care of the patients since i have the knowledge and experience instilled in my mind. as a staff nurse my duties are to help patient with their physical, emotional and psychological well being. Help them alleviate the pain they have, giving and preparing prescribed medications, carrying out doctor's order, and documenting their progress and maintaining their hygeinic needs. I worked as well in a care Home for Elderly with Dementia and mentally frail in london,uk. I worked for 4yrs in this company. I worked as a health care assistant and as a team leader at the same time. My duties and responsibilities is to ensure safety of the patients all the time. Administering prescribed medications, taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate and cardiac rate. Also, liaison with other health care professionals, assisting or helping patients with their daily needs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, wound dressing and feeding, documenting everyday progress of the patients making sure its consice and relevant. As a health care provider, rendering a holistic care is the most needed. its about looking after the patients safety all the time. my past experiences improved my ability to work in a team environment and enriched my ability to work under pressure. i enjoy being a health care provider too much, and i consider such applied responsibilities to be among the most important contributions I can make toward achieving optimum health for every patients/clients. I am a motivated professional with variety of skills and experience. My personal qualities reveal excellent teamwork and leadership skill, high level of initiative and creative energy.
