    Along with my daughter, I have fostered kids who are now grown and have kids of their own who call me "mema" which is how my natural granddaughter and step-grandchildren know me. I love all the kids, whether they are blood related or not.

    As an underpaid single parent when my daughter was young, I realized how wonderful it would be to have an evening out, or to be able to keep her home when she was out of school on my work days. I love kids, and love being a benefit to families, helping them maintain a healthy, happy environment, filled with reading, singing, activities, and other goodness.
