Hello, my name is Alyssa, and I am currently graduating in June 2016 within my Child and Youth Studies Program at Brock University. I absolutely love children, and can provide care for children ranging from young to older. I am a very friendly, responsible person, who has had experience caring for children for a number of years now. I have had experience in a day care setting working with children ages 3 and 4. I have also had experience working with children of special needs, as well as working with infants. I have had the opportunity to work with children who have had Autism, different intellectual disabilities as well as children who are at risk. I worked within a daycare setting last summer in Hamilton, and had experience working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers.Within this setting I helped plan different activities such as crafts, reading sessions and playtime. I absolutely enjoyed the experience and I am currently looking for work-related material within childcare. I love to cook, make crafts, and read with them/to them to help develop basic social and cognitive skills. I am certified in CPR/First Aid.
