Hi my name is Alisa B, I am an 18-year-old female who loves children. I like to believe that I am creative, energetic and charismatic. In regards to experience, I have had many opportunities to teach, babysit and enjoy the company of children. In my final year of high school at St Johns Ravenscourt school I attended a trip to the Dominican Republic where we went to an orphanage and taught the local children English. I have loved teaching children all my life from Church camps in the summer to more recently making and teaching lesson plans every week at my church for Sunday school. I also lived in Palm Springs, California for a summer where I lived as a nanny for a young girl where I helped her single mother cook, entertain and take care of her two dogs. Along with this I have babysat for many children and family members of all ages. This past year I have been in my first year at the University of Manitoba where I have been perusing to become a teacher. Currently I am working as a cashier at Canadian Tire, I have been employed for a year now however my hours there are extremely flexible so taking on this job would have no interferences especially if I had set hours. I obtained my drivers license in grade 11 (2013) and have been driving since. I also have my own car so getting around would not be an issue.
