About Me
Hi.
I am a young lady that started my own home day care a couple months ago. I have seven years experience taking care of children from three week old infants to ten year old children. I do have references.
I live in a semi-house with my mother, step-father and a family friend, Chey. There are animals in the home, dogs and cats so if your child(ren) is allergic or doesn't like animals this unfortunately isn't the day care for them.
Some of my interest are history and English. I also have interest in music and acting. One of my interest that I share with the children I take care of is painting, we paint a lot. We also bake, which is another interest of mine. I have always loved cooking as my father used to cook with me all the time when I was little. I also enjoy hiking, which is another thing we did together, but I don't take children hiking as it can be too much for small children and I don't want them getting hurt. We do go on walks though and we go to the beach a lot.
My plan is to save enough money to buy a nice, big house where I can continue my day care. My mother's house is a nice house and it's big enough for a day care, but I'd like a larger house when I move out so I can have my own family, foster children and of course, have enough room for my dog and cats. I also want to one day buy my own little farm area so I can breed dogs like my Aunt does. She's a breeder, but not the bad kind that breeds to the point where it's practically a puppy mill. I'd like to be a breeder like her, which is something you can't do as well in the small city.
I love taking care of children. I have been babysitting since I was ten years old. I wanted to start a day care after graduating high school, but since I am doing my classes online I figured, why wait?
I don't currently have a vehicle as I wasn't really in a rush to get my license when I turned 16, but I will probably write my G1 soon. Of course, I still won't be able to drive children around, but I find that the children prefer walking more anyway. We love the outdoors and I am always taking the children out when the weather allows.
We have fun activities for inside as well, painting, baking, playing with the animals, and we also have toys. I will continue getting more toys for my day care as time goes on and I am making more money to invest in more. We always have lots of fun, we don't watch a lot of TV and when we do it's always child appropriate.- Education: Graduate degree
