Hello, my name is Aimee. I would describe myself as patient, reliable, outgoing, creative and caring individual in all areas of my life.
Currently, I am working in Vancouver as an actor. My goal is to work with children and young adults that have learning and physical challenges through the medium of theatre and creative arts. The reason I am looking for a job as a nanny is because it gives me the chance to align my love of working with children with my job.
If you are searching for somebody to care for your children and follow a basic routine while also introducing new fun activities, be they artistic and creative projects or active field trips etc, I believe I would be perfect for the job.
I'm currently working part time as a nanny and would love to find another part time position. I have lots of other experience working with and caring for young children that include babysitting, tutoring and running classes/workshops. Before moving to Canada from the UK I worked for a theatre company that specialized in working with children with physical and mental disabilities. My work with them ranged from creating theatre/music/dancing, teaching classes, story writing and extravagant crafts to being a on site care assistant. I am also trained under the NSPCC organization in the UK which required me to take courses on protection for children.
As a part of my working visa and permanent resident requirements I posses criminal record certificates for both Canada and the UK.
