I am originally from Ontario and english is my first language. I am a second year student at the McGill School of Environment. What I love about studying the environment is that it covers most topics; I get to study a bit of chemistry; anthropology; business; and much more. I’ve always been interested in knowing a lot of many different things which is a result and the reason that I have a diverse educational background in terms of the subjects I have studied.
In Thunder Bay ON (my hometown) for years I was the regular caretaker for two children; I loved the time I spent interacting and playing with them.
As a bonus my mother is an early childhood educator who works in elementary schools teaching students through art and play and I can bring many of her lessons into my work. Growing up I had so much fun that I would have argued that I wasn’t learning anything.
I am currently learning French as my second language, I have conversational abilities, and I can read and write. I would feel comfortable (and excited) to work in a French environment. Additionally I also feel comfortable acting as an English language tutor.
