I am the eldest child in my family with a younger brother and two loving and supportive parents. Being the first born girl has given me the ability to be responsible and patient, while instilling an innate desire to nurture. I have the ability to motivate and aspire children to learn which has been a great asset in the past as I have tutored various students in mathematics and english. In addition, I was laboratory teaching assistant position where I helped students develop the skills necessary to succeed. I respect and admire youth for their vulnerability and uncanny ability to develop both mentally and physically. What inspires me is to observe and aid in the growth and development of young people while also learning from them.
I have spent the past two years doing research in a laboratory setting which has contributed to the development of my organizational skills, discipline, and problem solving skills. I believe my organizational and prioritizing skills can lend a great sense of security to children as I believe children grow with great confidence when their environment is well organized and structured. I compliment these skills with a sense of adventure, humour, and fun-loving attitude. I enjoy spending time outside especially when exercising, running, cycling, and climbing the escarpment stairs. I enjoy reading and educating myself on nutrition and wellness. I am currently studying Spanish and hope to become fluent in the years to come. Also, I have acquired a love of music from my father as I play the clarinet and am currently honing my skills as a guitar player. When I can find the time I enjoy watching films and television series.
