I was born and raised in Langley, BC but recently relocated to Kelowna, BC to attend university at the University of British Columbia Okanagan where I am obtaining my major in Psychology. I plan to specialize in developmental psychology and/or forensic psychology. and once I complete university I hope to use this to work with children and teenagers. I have always loved working and spending time with children, and with my mother being an early childhood educator, I have fortunately had the opportunity to do so because I attended the private school that she teaches at and we frequently had children come to our house for summer programs when the parents required extra help when school was closed. Growing up I had a passion for dance and spent 15 years competing, performing, and assisting dance classes. I have babysat for countless parents and have been a nanny for the past year for two families and I have been fortunate enough to take care of some amazing children. I truly appreciate how children have warm hearts and a healthy curiosity for the world around them without judgment or criticism of others. Now when I have free time I love to spend it doing yoga, reading books, and doing further research of psychological studies that have interested me during coursework.
