Hello there, my name is Kirsten!
I am a stay at home mother of three wonderful & happy children (2 girls, twelve and four, 1 son turning three in December). I have always had a passion for child care and I thought now is the perfect time to get into it having my two daughters in school full time. I have been a stay at home mom for the past 10 years. I have done hundreds of hours babysitting as I am the oldest sister to 4 younger brothers. I also have experience babysitting other family members like cousins, nephews, family friends, friends children etc... I have been babysitting since around the age of ten or younger and I truly have always loved every minute of it. I also did one year of co-op at a daycare center in Newmarket. I was able to gain a lot of experience in all three of the rooms they had to offer (Baby, Toddler & PreK). I took on many duties at the center including organinzing, cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, laundry, food preparation, sitting in on activities and indoor/outdoor play and actually playing with all the children & so much more! All throughout school I was always helping, observing and interacting in the kindergarten & special needs classrooms. I have been a baby/child person since I can remember.
I currently live in Markham Ontario and have a great 4 bedroom home with a fenced in backyard with plenty of items and activities to keep your child happy, occupied and most of all safe! And when your child is in my care I will always go above and beyond to ensure you are completely satisfied with your child's care. So please never hesitate to let me know of anything more I could do to make sure that is absolutely possible.
