Hello,

My name is Arielle and I am currently a student at Pitzer College in Claremont, California.

Raised in Berlin, Germany, London, England and Switzerland, I am multilingual and have over five years experience of working with children. My passions and interests lie within the realms of environmental education and justice, behavioural studies and botany.

My initial experience of working with children revolved around aiding children with various learning disabilities in an academic support system. Since then, I have worked as a language support tutor, aiding young children in linguistic and cultural immersion, as well as a babysitter. Prior to moving to Claremont, I worked as an aupair for three consecutive years, caring for two boys, currently aged 4 and 7.

I am incredibly passionate about spending time with children of all ages. I strongly believe in allowing them to delve into their own imagination and creativity. Nature has played an incredibly central role throughout my life and thus, it has become customary for me to spend time outside with the kids as much as possible.

My hope in spending time with the children is to form an alternative support for them- someone outside of the family that they feel comfortable with, can open up to, let go with, study with etc.

I am currently looking to pick up any odd hours during which you may need some extra support, or potentially finding a regular part-time position.
