Hey parents. Firstly I would like to mention how much I enjoy my career in working with infants and children. I choose this career field as it is one of my strong passions in life and genuinely brings me a ton of joy on a daily basis! My post secondary education is in journalism but switched to the childcare field full time about 5 years ago. Previous to that I have worked in childcare part-time/weekends for over 10 years. I am Canadian born and english is my first language. Experience working with toddlers and children up to age of 6 Experience working with infants as young as 2 days old, and premature. Experience and specialize in working with twins & multiples Experience in sleep training Knowledge in potty training Knowledge in working with breast milk and infant food Knowledge in baby sign language Trained in infant and child CPR I am an excellent caregiver to infants and children. I specialize in the care for twins and multiples. I have the ability to pick up new tasks assigned to me dependent on the children's needs and family's requests. I am able to work in fast-paced environments and have lots of experience within the childcare field. I am able to cook most type's of foods, make infant food from scratch and prepare healthy meals for infants and children. I am very physically active, creative, out-going and caring. I am a great listener and very good at working with all different types of families. I am always punctual very reliable and have a flexible schedule according to family's and children's needs.
