Hello Families! My name is Michelle, I am 25 years old and just recently finished the last semester of my Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Calgary. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Alberta College of Art + Design, and I love putting my creative background to use with children, doing all kinds of artsy and crafty activities! I have been a nanny and respite childcare provider for three main families since 2012, and I still continue to see the children I've cared for on a regular basis, because I am close with all of them. During my three years as a caregiver, I have worked with children who have special needs (ie. severe food allergies, nonverbal autism, and down syndrome), and I am comfortable adapting routines and activities to fit the needs of individual children and families. I am comfortable doing meal prep, light housework, and helping with homework. I live in NW Calgary, and am looking for casual or part time work as a nanny for this upcoming summer before I begin my teaching career in the fall.
