About Me
I am an undergraduate student at University of Alberta, in my first year. I enjoy working with seniors, and have a fair amount of experience, having worked in group homes for seniors with varying disabilities, from mental health issues such as dementia, schizophrenia, learning disabilities, to physical disabilities such as wheelchair care and vision impairment. I have experience with COPD, palliative care, catheters, and CPAP machines. I have obtained the Supportive Pathways certificate training on caring for people with dementia. Patience and kindness are always at the forefront of my mind when caring for vulnerable people; I believe it is of the utmost importance to serve them with dignity and respect. If you are looking for somebody to provide care, company, or assistance to a senior with these things in mind, I would love to hear from you! I enjoy playing cards, shopping, gardening, cooking, cleaning, and supporting personal care routines.
