Hi there, My name is Megan. At 23 years of age, I have had over ten years of paid experience caring for children and have been employed as a local daycare teacher in Oakville for 6 summers. I am a responsible, energetic and loving person who is extremely passionate about children. Having always been passionate about children, I decided to pursue a career in teaching. Upon completing my BA in child psychology at the University of Western Ontario in 2012, I recognized the value in working one-on-one or in small groups of children, as opposed to working as a teacher with a larger group of children. I decided to return to school in order to focus on becoming a speech language pathologist. This career would allow me to work with families and aid children with their communication and speech. This school year, I plan to return to Western University for a second additional year in order to apply to graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology in 2015. I recognize how difficult it must be to place your trust in a stranger to care for and protect their child. I am a very level headed and responsible individual who is willing to do anything and everything in order to ensure that your child is and feels safe while under my supervision.
