Over the past two years I have been a teacher's assistant for a special education gym class. While being a teacher's assistant I have helped out students with down syndrome, autism, and other learning disabilities between the ages of 14-17 years old. As well, being a teacher's assistant in a local dance studio teaching ballet to girls ages ranging from 4-8 years old. While going to school two days a week, I have gained experience in babysitting with children ranging from 5 months-8 years old. I also was a nanny for a family with 4 children ages 2, 4, 6, 7. Aside from babysitting, I worked part-time at a retirement home ensuring all residents get the appropriate food needed, laundry folded, and room cleaned. In my spare time I like to hike, camp, ski and try all sorts of new things no matter what age I am learning them from.
