I am a single 24 year old female who currently works full time at Wee Care Developmental Centre. I have two chihuahuas - hiccup and sneeze and a cat -Sophie. I attended St.FX and took a variety of courses including developmental psychology, anthropology, sciences, calculus, and women's and gender studies. I am a trained WSIT (water safety instructor trainer) and National lifeguard which includes my CPR, first aid and AED.
From the age of 13 I have been working with children. It began when I taught a creative dance class then continued as I taught ballet, jazz and hip hop. The I taught swimming and moved up to become a trainer which allowed me to train 16 year olds how to be the best possible teacher. I also moved up to become head lifeguard where I created my own parent tot swimming lessons, adult learn to swim and an adapted swim program for children with special needs.
I am extremely organized, punctual, reliable, friendly, caring and patient. I have a variety of experience working with children both typical and those with Special needs. I learn quickly and enjoy learning and experiencing new things. I am physically fit and able to do all kinds of tasks that may require bending, running, lifting etc.
My hobbies include; dancing, swimming, reading, going for walks, creating, singing (although I am not the best), meal prep and cleaning.
