    I am a recent graduate of the Child and Youth Care Degree at VIU. Through my experience as a Manager Assistant at a local daycare and my degree, I have realized my passion to continue working with children and youth in various settings. My future goals include returning to University to obtain my degree in Education in order to one day become a teacher. I am originally from the Maritimes (New Brunswick) and have been living on Vancouver Island since 2015. I have always had a passion to work with children and I appreciate everything children have to teach me along my journey. I am an effective cleaner with above average cooking and baking skills. Activities I enjoy doing with children include trips to the park, swimming, arts and crafts, trips to events in near by city/towns, themed days/crafts, etc. One of my main goals when working with children is to form a trusting relationship in order to meet all physical, emotional and mental needs.
