I am a first year University student at the University of Victoria and I am going into the Education program to obtain my Teaching Degree. I played house soccer for 12 years and it was one of the best experiances of my childhood. I volenteered as a peer totur at my high school in Nanaimo last year and it is what inspired me to become a teacher. I really enjoyed helping students to achieve their goals academically as well as offering them emotional support as an older sister figure. I live with my best friend, who I have know since I was in grade 5, in an appartment on Quadra street. My second oldest brother lives about 15 minutes away and we visit each other often. Family is important to all of my siblings (I have two older brother and one younger) so we all make an effort to keep in touch.
