    I am the mother of 3 girls who have all grown up and grandmother to 2 little ones. I have worked for over 16 years in a college and now I want to do something more hands on. I enjoy older people I have a lot of admiration and empathy for our ageing.. I used to sing in retirement homes and old age homes because I found them a little sad to be honest and I wanted to make them smile. I loved the contact and the stories and just being there. The residents always made me feel so welcome. I did take care of my aging family and maybe that is why I still feel the pull to be there for someone who needs me.
