Dear Future Family,
My name is Shantelle, and I am 23 years old. I can most certainly say
that I have a passion for working with children of all ages. I
graduated with an Early Childhood Diploma and I am currently
completing my Bachelor of Applied Science in Child, Youth and Family.
I obtained my diploma from Conestoga College and am currently
attending University of Guelph.
I have had the chance to work with over 200 families through
baby-sitting as well as my nanny services. I have had 2 main nanny
families and I have loved working with the children so hands on.
Becoming a big sister to all these kids gives me a reason to wake up
smiling. I have met so many amazing families, whom I keep in high
contact with over the years. Working with these families the children
ranged from newborn-16 years of age, multiples and children with
disabilities.
Duties include:
* travelling with family
* housekeeping
* daily baby routine (bottling, nap time, diapers, etc)
* dry cleaning
* planning daily activities
* potty training
* homework
* laundry
* watch children while parents travel
* driving to activities
* plan play dates
* outside time
* lots more fun.....
