Hello:

My name is Gabriele; I am originally from Germany. I am living in Canada for over 14 years now. I have two occupations in which I loved working for many years. A Diploma as an Administrative Assistant and one in as a Child Development Supervisor Level III. I worked as a child supervisor for 12 years.
In my life, I loved traveling. I spend time in India where I learned Yoga and Meditation.
I am a mature and happy woman, and I genuinely care for people of all ages. I enjoy doing all kinds of indoor and outdoor activities with children, encouraging their creativity, imagination and healthy development. I love to enter their little world and show them how they can learn, develop, respond and understand. Children of all ages are happy when you will give them your sincere attention and treat them as little people, take their message to heart and act from the heart; help them to solve their problems by explaining and showing, offering alternative and/or redirecting.
Teaching them while playing. Having lots of laughter and fun; and lots of crafts and adventures during playtime. Supporting and loving them where they are and try to teach them a bit more what they already can do.
I am very reliable, responsible kind, gentle, fun, creative, calm, patient, sensitive, caring, energetic, will follow through when I set limits and boundaries.
The child ‘s safety is always my primary concern. I have been working with infants, toddlers and teenagers. When I came to Edmonton I took the Training for Live-in Caregivers at TLC here in Edmonton to have a Canadian work experience. This full-time six-month training course prepares students for all aspects of the caregiver/nanny job, including First Aid and CPR.
I am health-oriented, like eating good food, like spending time with my friends and love being outdoors. I love good movies, going for walks, doing Yoga and I like swimming. I also enjoy cooking. I like learning new things and I am flexible in all kinds of new situations.
