I was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta and continue to attend the University of Lethbridge in pursuit of my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees. In April I will have completed my third year. My amazing boyfriend of two years lives and works in Calgary and I live in Calgary with him during the summer and on my weekends through the school year. I have worked for over a year with children with special needs, including a five-year-old boy with Autism, a seven-year-old boy with Developmental Coordination Disorder, an eleven-year-old with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and an eleven-year-old with Autism. I have completed one in-school practicum for my studies at the University of Lethbridge and worked in a Grade 6 classroom, passing the class with high recommendation to the U of L's Faculty of Education. I have a dedicated passion for children of all ages, and I thoroughly enjoy working in the home setting. Last summer I worked as a nanny in Calgary for a family with an eleven-year-old son with Autism, and many of the families I have worked with have had me complete household chores.
I am an energetic and positive person. I enjoy all kinds of sports and enjoy spending time outdoors at parks or pools.
