Hello.
My name is Abby and I hold extensive experience in child care settings. I hold a post graduate Faculty of Education diploma from the University of Windsor. I specialized in primary junior education and hold an additional qualification course in special needs education. I am registered with the Ontario Teachers College however I am not employed as a teacher currently. I worked in a latchkey setting for sometime before I landed on my current career. I truly love spending time with children and feel that this opportunity is an excellent way to spend my time in a positive way.
I am enthusiastic, positive and very active. I grew up in Georgetown Ontario but moved to Windsor with my family when I was 17. I am back living in Toronto for my career and looking for some extra work on the weekends.
My hobbies/interests consist of anything active (gym, running, soccer, hockey), crafts, painting, reading, pets (I have experience with a range of animals). I am a positive person with a well rounded outlook on the world. I love to entertain and inspire creativity. I believe all children have amazing gifts and inspiration to offer.
