    Dear family, I want to be your loved one's friend, help mate, recreation partner, shopping assistant, driver, social convener (if appropriate), board game player, reader, and anything else your loved one requires. I am a certified Rehabilitation Instructor for the Blind / Visually Impaired (Mohawk College, 2010) which also certifies my skills in safe mobility. Qualified to work with people with visual challenges, all my skills are transferable to most other challenges of life, including aging. I also spent 20 yrs working as a journalist -- where I learned to appreciate and enjoy the "stories" of yesteryear.
