My name is Jessica ; I am nineteen years old and attend school in North Bay at Nipissing University, for concurrent education to become a teacher. I am looking for a full time job for the summer, where I can spend my time with children, while getting more experience. I live at home in Georgetown Ontario. I am a non-smoker, I have my driver’s license, I can swim very well, and I am comfortable with pets. I see myself as a happy person, who loves being around kids. I feel very comfortable around children, as I have been a nanny for a year already. I have been a babysitter, since I was fifteen, and when I turned seventeen I was a full time student and part time nanny. I looked after two children; one in grade three and the other was in grade four. I believe my duties as a caregiver to your children will consist of walking the children home from school, caring for the children, cleaning after them, and any additional mess, making dinner and snacks, making sure they are entertained (and not just by the television). I hope to be an extra help to the family, and am capable of doing laundry, keeping the kids active, giving bathes, going grocery shopping, putting the children to bed etc. I volunteer at many different schools, where I am looked at as a teacher’s assistant, which means I feel very comfortable of being a child’s role model. Nothing brings me more pleasure than being around children.
