Hi there! I am a 20 year old nursing student, going into my fourth year and children are my passion! My ultimate goal is to work with newborns or pediatric patients and has been since I was little. I'm trustworthy, reliable and nurturing; I love activities, the outdoors, cooking and planning educational activities. I've taken two classes through nursing which solely revolved around the development and care of newborns to the age of 12 which included: -a 6 week practicum on the Mother Baby unit in Regina, spending 8 hours a day caring for newborn babies which I absolutely loved! -6 weeks at an elementary school where I helped out with younger grades and worked one on one with a young child with special needs. I also have a lot of experience with people that have special needs through Best Buddies, HELP homes and by taking a university class regarding individuals with disabilities. I've had several experiences working with newborns to teenagers, starting when I was only 12 years old. I would love to be a occasional babysitter or have scheduled days throughout the summer! I'm flexible and usually available on short notice.
