Hello! I am a warm, sweet, gentle and sensitive woman, as well as responsible and reliable. I love creative games and activities, going outdoors, singing, and storytelling. I also love pets! I'm 26 years-old, and I have extensive experience taking care of children, primarily newborns and toddlers. More specifically, I started very young with my twin cousins, then working as an au-pair in a family with 3 children (2, 6 and 10 years old), and also taking care of two wonderful newborns for two separate families (one from 2months to 10months, and the other who required special care from 5months to 12months). Last year I also volunteered at a residence for single moms/moms in difficulty, where I provided respite care in the nursery (basically I would look after the babies, toddlers and young children - usually 2 at a time - while the moms were taking a break). I am also aware of alternative approaches to child development, such as the Waldorf model. I have just returned from 4 months of traveling in my home country, Italy, where I ended up wwoofing on a horse farm and actually working a lot with children of all ages. I mostly helped during the horse-riding lessons, but also facilitated the gentle introduction of children to the magical world of horse! Needless to say that I love children, and in my experience working in childcare I have learned a lot from them. At the moment, I am available the following days: Mondays - from 1:30ish/2pm until whenever Thursday - from 1:30ish/2pm till whenever Friday - from 1:30ish/2pm till whenever Week-ends - anytime While I have a driving license, it is not recognized here in Quebec because it's an Italian one, which I am hoping to get converted to a Quebec one this summer (I'll have to redo the tests).
