    I have been a caregiver for 14 years. Initially, I worked for the healthcare agencies. From 2009-2011, I took care of mom (then 94). My duties included preparing meals, laundry, housekeeping, shopping, helping get dressed and undressed, and taking her to appointments. From 2013-2015, I took care of Pearl where I did much the same and also helped her with bathing and monitored BP. Last year, I was a companion to Hendrik (91). More recently, I worked in a hotel as a housekeeper.
