    Hey there! My name is Maria and I am currently a second year student currently enrolled in the the Child and Youth Care program at the University of Victoria. I have always had a passion for taking care and working with children, and have many years of experience with children aged 1yr-12yrs old. I have babysat numerous of my cousins and children within my neighbourhood growing up. I have volunteered for numerous children organizations, such as, the Kids with Cancer Society, The Stollery Children's Hospital, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and at the Fairfield Gonzales Community Association located right here in Victoria! My favourite activities are painting, playing outside, and swimming! I also truly enjoy cooking and since moving away from home, I have picked up some great cooking techniques from my mom! I am a mature, respectful, and trustworthy individual and I hope that I will be able to help some of you out! I also want to point out that the little girl in the picture is my cousins daughter.
