I am a third year university student at the University of Toronto enrolled in the Specialist International Development Studies Co-op program with a minor in African Studies. I am currently in Calgary for the summer, looking for flexible part time and casual work in mornings, afternoons or evenings, when I am not at my summer job at Calaway Park.
I am an enthusiastic person with over 5 years’ experience babysitting ranging newborns to 10 year olds. In addition, I have experience as a camp councillor for 5 years and work as a residence advisor at university. I also possess knowledge, skills and experience in providing care and companionship for individuals with disabilities that I have acquired from volunteering with Best Buddies Canada for over 5 years.
As a babysitter I always pride myself in providing different and unique activities for the children that have an educational component to them, such as a crafts, cooking or reading. I work hard to provide support and help to the individual however they may require it to assist them in reaching their own definition of success. Above all I work hard to provide safe and fun activities to keep the children busy and active.
