I grew up in Bermuda where I attended an all girls high school. I attended a babysitting course in my teens, when my parents had my two youngest siblings, which is when I realized my love for kids. I began babysitting for family friends, and soon it was friends of those families. I can be pretty active, I love outdoor activities, such as biking, hiking, and drawing with chalk on the sidewalks. I am equally fine (and good) at sitting in front of a TV or iPad, or video game system. I have grown up with kids who had pickier tastes in food so I am good at finding something anyone will like. I have babysat children from ages of 6 months to 12 years old, both boys and girls.
I just graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in Technical Theatre and a minor in Film Studies, I am used to getting hands-on with my work. I have been working at the Sir James Dunn Theatre in Halifax as an on-call sort of job, so I am used to getting called in on short notice.
