My name is Brittany and I am a 22 year old student going into my fourth year at the University of Calgary. I am in the Concurrent Education program which allows me to obtain my Bachelor of Arts degree in history as well as my Bachelor of Education degree within a five year span. I am originally from Kenora, which is a beautiful small town in Northwestern Ontario that is surrounded by beautiful lakes and scenery and near the Manitoba border. I have been babysitting and childcare giving for almost a decade. In my past experiences I have babysat children from ages 5 months through until age 12, having up to four children at a time and I also have experiences in overnight sitting. An example of my childcare abilities was just last summer where I was a full time nanny for a shift work family. I was responsible for ensuring that the children got to and from school safely, I did light house work such as dishes, cleaning and laundry and also having to prepare meals. I was there overnights as well as throughout the day. My future plans are to become an elementary school teacher when I graduate from university. I am very enthusiastic and love working with children. I hope to be able to look after your children in the near future. I am looking for some part time work come the academic year. I will not be back in Calgary until the end of August/early September to meet up.
