Hello! My name is Shannon and I am a third-year university student. I grew up with three younger sisters and have been taking care of children since I took a babysitting course at age 12. Playing with and caring for children is something I enjoy, it is a passion which I hope to pursue with an eventual career in education. My more recent experience in childcare has been with children under four, but I get along very well with children of all ages and stages. I often like to incorporate art when I am babysitting and enjoy playing all kinds of games. Counselling at summer camps, leading Sunday school programs and helping out at a children's literacy program have become an asset to my childcare approach.
