I grew up overseas in Asia, and have been back in Montreal to attend McGill for the past 2 years. I lived in Singapore for six years, where I worked as a summer camp counsellor to groups of children ranging from the age of 3 to 11, over the summers - working with children was a sort of tradition. for me as I enjoyed it.
I am currently studying Political Science and Sociology at McGill. I like to dance, and I play volleyball throughout the year. In addition, I am an executive McGill's chapter of a national club called Peace by Peace, and we visit local schools throughout Montreal to teach children in grades 5 and 6 conflict resolution.
I love working with children, and find that they take a liking to me very quickly. I am outgoing, respectful, and patient when it comes to them - I can handle problem situations quite well, as having to think on the spot is something necessary when you are a camp counsellor, or in charge of a group such as Peace by Peace. I speak both French and English fluently, with a working knowledge of Spanish.
