    I look after four individuals ages between 25 and 46 all of them with significant impairments in cognity ability, physical disability, behavioural disorder and mental disorder. I did some volunteering abroad with children and young people with different abilities providing physical, emotional, social, therapy and education support. My helper philosophy is based in the well being of the person regardless of the ability level.
    I have taken theoretical and practical training in my work while providing support to people with special needs.

      I have worked with Gisela for 3 years in a private group home for adults with intellectual disabilities. She is focused, friendly, hard working, efficient, will address problems when they arise. She is gifted at establishing a connection with her clients while also remaining on a professional level. One thing I've noticed about Gisela personally is that she likes to laugh, is very intelligent, and she loves kids. Her and I remain in contact, and if I have children one day, she would be my first choice if I needed a caregiver.
