My name is Maria Jose I am 18 years old but will be 19 this June. I am from Ecuador a little country in South America. I came to Canada to study College/University. My older brother came to Canada in September 2011 to study music production on Metalworks Institute and then graduate from general science in Conestoga College, so it was easy for me to come here. My father runs his own business in Ecuador he is a very successful Cosmetic Surgeon and my stepmother, who I love, has an International Master in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. My mother is a doctor and has worked in the pharmaceutical department of several big companies like Roche; she has also work with the ministry of health in Ecuador. I have a boyfriend and I am already three years with him, he is studying Business in The University of Tampa in Florida. I am about to finish my first year of college in Business Administration-Marketing at Conestoga and will be graduating on April 2016.
I have 4 sisters and one brother. My 22-year-old brother and me from my mom and dad; two sisters that are 12 and 8 years old from my dad and two sisters that have 8 and 5 years old from my mom. I have taken care of each one of my sisters since they were little. I’ve lived with my dad my whole life so I spend most of my time with my two sisters; I took care of them all the afternoon when my parents were working and on Friday/Saturday nights whenever they went out. I love spending time with them, we watch movies, we play inside and in the park, we did homework together and I help them if they needed. I bathed and clean them when they were little and put them to bed after a story. I made them afternoon snacks and dinner when my parents arrived late at night. I do the same with my other sisters whenever I went to my mom’s house. I cook the basic stuff nothing major and I clean (I love having everything organized and in order), I can do laundry too. I have an Ecuadorian drivers license and I do know how to drive but I don’t have that much experience, and I also don’t have a car and I think I don’t need one right now that is why I haven’t do the paper work to take out my Canadian one. I am caring, honest, and responsible. I am creative and love to paint, do crafts and make desserts. I really love children; I am very patient with them kids tend to like me.
I am looking for a summer job starting May 20 till the second week of August. I think this would be great for me. I am not looking for a big salary but something that would allow me to pay some expenses and save the rest. I really hope to be a good fit in your family.
