    Hello,

    My name is Melani. I was born and raised in Germany, took my ECE training there and came over to B.C. Canada when I was 21 years old to work as an Au-Pair. I decided to stay in this beautiful country and worked in various households as a nanny/caregiver. I went back to full time studies for four years and got a BA in English with a minor in Education from SFU, mostly out of personal interest. Later I completed my ECE program again at Vancouver Community College, since the education philosophies are always evolving and I learned new theories and guidance and caring strategies than I had learned in Germany. I am a licensensed Early Childhood Educator for B. C. and also hold an Infant/Toddler Educator license. I also have some training and experience in working with children with special needs. I live in the Mount Pleasant area.
