Children are my pride and joy. Seeing them smile, and hearing the high pitched giggle of a child brings me so much joy. I love playing with kids, watching them grow, teaching them new things, encouraging them in their journey, and living life with them. I started babysitting when I was around ten years old. Starting with my brother, and then volunteering in my church nursery, as well as kids church, where I put on plays, lead sing alongs, lead small groups, with crafts, discussions and so on. I then moved up to babysitting casually around my neighborhood for years and enjoyed every moment of it. I lead a group of grade eight girls from my church youth group, I also spent the last three summers as a leader at a summer camp in Osoyoos and one in the Yukon territory where I had my own cabin of middle school aged girls. In my highschool I was involved in the preschool class where I looked after two four year olds, teaching them, doing crafts, and playing with them. With this I also did a practicum in a grade one class. Currently I work at an indoor play centre for kids. Where I supervise kids play all day. I love learning more about children, and getting to know their personalities, and enjoying the things they enjoy.
