I am a 19 year old female and I grew up in New Zealand before moving to Canada. I love to dance and I am a very artistic person meaning I love to paint and draw as well. I am currently studying to become an elementary school teacher as I love to interact with children and see their sparkling faces when they achieve that one thing they have been trying for for so long.
I believe that every child needs to feel comfortable in their surroundings and that they need to feel confident in communicating and learning while being encompassed in a healthy mind, body and soul. They need to feel wanted as important contributors to the society. As a soon to be teacher I aim to guide children and teach them while ensuring they will enjoy the journey along the way. I have babysitting experience and I do believe that as much as I may teach the children along the way I do always end up learning from them as well. It makes my day when they run to me when I walk through the door and tell me they love me when going to sleep.
