    Hi,

    My name is Tyrell and I may be your nanny!

    I am looking for a family that needs a fun and responsible caretaker (and play-mate!) for their little ones. I understand the constancy and attention required to be an effective caregiver(it is a big job!), and my goal is provide a safe, nurturing environment for kids to discover and learn about our big, beautiful world.

    I love having fun with kids! Being in nature, going on adventures, developing skills and discovering fascinations, and finding ways we can connect and relate. I aim to welcome your family to be a part of my life as well as becoming a part of yours; I intend for the time that we spend together to be meaningful in the bigger picture of our lives as human beings.

    My training is in Early Childhood Care and Development - I have my certificate, which I received in 2011 from NIC on Vancouver Island.

    Since that time, I have gathered a few years of experience as a support worker, a summer camp coordinator, as well as experience as a part-time nanny/babysitter/uncle. I have worked with children from the ages of 12 months to 12 years old.

    I recently moved back to Vancouver from Cortes Island, where I was picking up skills as a builder, crafting
    things out of wood. I am back in the city to pursue a different fascination of mine: clowning! Studying clown is like learning how to play again, something all children do naturally, and something to which I would love everyone to have more access.

    I have many gifts to share as a caretaker, and I look forward to meeting you and seeing if we could be a good fit for one another.

    I have a driver's license, my own car, and I am looking for around 30 hrs/week. Ideally one child, possibly two, and living somewhat close to East Van. I have had my first aid/CPR in the past and am looking to renew it soon.
