I am a creative and patient person.I've always loved being around kids . We always learning something new from them. I have been looking after children for 7 years now. It began with just some babysitting and grew from tutoring,to Nannying and to becoming an EA. I Recently graduated from the U of W's Educational Assistant Diploma Program . One of my favourite courses was *Developing Capable People*. I had a blast on my 8 week practicum at Ecole Laura Secord School. I really had the opportunity to put to the test what I had been soaking up those past months. I am also a trained and certified Doula ( Birth Coach ) so I have a passion for babies . I have done respite and volunteer work for Moms in labour. I would really welcome the opportunity to explore more with working as a Postpartum Doula. I have CPR,First Aid certified. WEVAS ( working effectively with violent aggressive people). Criminal Record/Child abuse (Vulnerable sector) check. I find kids really bring out the creative side in me . We do face painting , singing and playing my ukulele. I take the children outdoors for walks and park adventures. From bike rides to bus rides. I try to take them to new places for life experience ie : children's museum, Children's festival,The Zoo... . With them I'm always up for a new adventure!
