Hello. My name is Elena and I am 21 years old. I am currently in my fourth year at McMaster University in the Honours Social Psychology Program. I specialize in children and childhood studies because I am hoping to become a Child Life Specialist after graduation. I volunteer at McMaster Children's hospital and host "Movie Night" for the children twice a month. I also volunteer at the YMCA to help children and youth with disabilities to exercise. These volunteer placements have given me hands on experience with working with children, specifically those with any physical or intellectual disabilities.
