Although my resume does not reflect Child Care Experience with references, please be assured that I am highly experienced in the field. As the oldest of 3 children, I began looking after my siblings (2) at the age of 12 as well as attended the required Babysitting Course that all teens take when venturing into the Part Time Babysitting world and being the oldest child in the neighborhood made me very popular with neighbors and friends of my family.
In addition to my Babysitting Experience as a young teen, I have been entrusted by my Aunt and Uncle to care for their 3 children (8, 6, 2) since their birth. As we are a very tight family, caring for her children was a frequent requirement until recently when they were transferred to Pittsburgh.
Lastly, after placing an Ad on a Nanny Website in February 2014, I secured the position of Nanny for 2 children (shared with 2 families) along with my 17 year old sister. This was indeed the perfect situation, however due to family circumstances beyond my control, the position was very short lived.
It is my goal to pursue a career that makes a difference to the world and I believe that my path is Child Care, Elderly Care, Assisted Living Care. I believe that care of our loved ones is what matters in the world. It is my goal to travel down avenues of education in care - whether it be with children or with the elderly however I have not yet confirmed direction that will be. Only upon practical experience will I be able to make such decision.
