Dear Parent, I would like to express my interest in being your nanny. I love children and would love the chance to get to know yours as I support your family. I have spent many, many hours working with children of all ages from infants to preteens. I am committed to providing the highest level of care. I have spent the last year working as an English teacher to 240 students in South Korea. I am enthusiastic about children and loved creating fun and educational activities for them. I would be very comfortable caring for your child and ensuring he or she is stimulated intellectually. I have also tutored in math, French and literacy with children of all ages in school, homework clubs and even university level English and paper writing. Before leaving for Korea, I spent the summer as the Head Cook at Long Lake Camp. I prepared three healthy, kid-friendly meals and snacks for as many as 75 children and staff every day. I would be fully capable of preparing a variety of nourishing meals your child will enjoy. Before managing the kitchen, I worked five years as a counsellor in direct care for children and teens at sleep-away summer camp and two years as the supervisor of counsellors. I was in charge of resolving problems, camper discipline issues and homesickness. While in these capacities, I cared for groups of up to 14 children at a time. I am a friendly, intelligent and responsible caregiver who would adore getting to know your children and helping them grow! In 2013, I graduated from Dalhousie University where I studied English and Philosophy. I would be glad to help your child develop his or her language and literacy skills. I also studied Developmental Psychology and will help your children flourish.
